One of the eight sacred instruments — its sound carries peace across all directions.

THE DHARMA CONCH — SACRED INSTRUMENT OF THE HIMALAYAN TRADITION

The conch shell is one of the Eight Auspicious Symbols of Tibetan Buddhism — a symbol of purity, auspicious beginnings, and the proclamation of the Dharma. When the Buddha Shakyamuni first turned the Wheel of Teaching, his voice was said to resonate as far and as deeply as the sound of the conch. Its sound carries stillness — a resonance that quiets the mind and opens awareness to something older and larger than ordinary thought.

HAND-CARVED COPPER CRAFT

Each piece is hand-carved by skilled Himalayan artisans, its surface adorned with intricate floral engravings symbolizing auspiciousness and peace. The copper body carries natural warmth — both in appearance and in energetic quality — making it as meaningful as a display piece as it is as a ritual instrument.

LEFT-TURNING & RIGHT-TURNING

In the Tibetan tradition, the right-turning conch (clockwise spiral) is considered especially auspicious — said to mirror the movement of celestial bodies and the hair whorls of the Buddha himself. The left-turning conch is rarer in nature and equally revered. Both carry the same capacity for blessing; the difference is one of cosmic orientation.
